Overnight Oats

This recipe comes from this site. She did an amazing job with making them for some mason jars that I love as they are easy to grab and go to work with. Check out the OG recipe that has 37K five star reviews here. This is a great one to learn and use in your life. They last up to 5 or 6 days once made.

Ingredients:

Basic Recipe:
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup milk of choice

My Add-Ins
¼ cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon sweetener honey or maple syrup
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Peanut butter and Jelly
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
¼ cup diced strawberries
2 tablespoons peanuts crushed

Apple Pie
¼ cup diced apples
1 tablespoon pecans chopped
2 teaspoons maple syrup
¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Banana Nutella
½ banana sliced
1 tablespoon Nutella
1 tablespoon hazelnuts crushed
1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Almond Joy
¼ cup shredded coconut
1 tablespoon almonds chopped
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
2 teaspoons maple syrup

Lemon Blueberry
¼ cup blueberries
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 teaspoons honey
Pinch of salt

Maple Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons maple syrup
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Carrot Cake
1/4 cut grated carrots
1 Tb. of raisins
2 Tb. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 Tb. of Maple syrup
1/4 ts. Vanilla
Add to tastes: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice, and salt

Chocolate Nut
1 Tb. Coco powder
1 Tb. Maple syrup
1 Tb. Nut butter of your choice (Costco almond was Divine)
1-2 Tb of brewed coffee of your choice
2 Tb. of chopped nuts (almonds)
pinch of salt

Chocolate Banana Bread
½ banana, mashed
1 Tb. cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
Banana slices
2 Tb. Chopped walnuts
1/2 square of dark chocolate (about 1/2 oz.)

Tropical
1/4 cup chopped mango
1/4 cup chopped coconut flakes
1 Tb. Maple syrup
2 Tb. of chopped nuts of your choice
pinch of salt

Sweet Potato Tahini
1/4 cup sweet potato mash
1 Tb. Maple syrup
2 Tb. Tahini
2 Tb. of chopped nuts (walnuts)
1/4 tea. Cinnamon
pinch of salt

Tahini & Dates
2 Dates chopped
2 Tb. Tahini
1/4 tea. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Optional: 2 Tb. of chopped nuts (pistachio)
Optional: 1/2 Tb. Maple Syrup

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a large glass container and mix until combined.
  2. Cover the glass container with a lid or plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
    Toppings can be added the night before or immediately before serving.
  3. Uncover and enjoy from the glass container the next day. Thin with a little more milk or water, if desired.
