Best Roasted Broccoli

Love this Broccoli, it was one of the first things that Nikki made for me and I LOVED it! Have a go with this one.

Ingredients:

3 cups broccoli florets, in large but still edible pieces
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp neutral oil (vegetable, canola, peanut, or avocado)
½ tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp salt
Pepper
Pinch Red Pepper Flakes (optional but recommended)

Directions:

  1.  Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Place broccoli in a bowl and add both oils, red pepper flakes, salt, garlic powder and a few grinds pepper. Massage the mixture into the broccoli with your hands, making sure to coat tips of the florets well. 
  3. Spread the broccoli onto a aluminum foil lined baking sheet in single layer. Spread out the florets to keep space between them, so they roast and don’t steam. 
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the ends are starting to get brown and crispy.
  5. Take out of oven and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before eating!
