This one was sent to me by the boss man himself. Nick Davis told me this is one of his families favorites. That is good enough for me to give it a go and I am so glad I did!
1 lb lean ground beef or ground turkey
2 cups wagon wheel pasta, uncooked
1 can (14.5 oz) stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cups water
1 box (10 oz) BIRDS EYE frozen sweet corn
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat 5 minutes or until well browned.
Stir in pasta, tomatoes, water, corn and barbecue sauce; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender, Stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
Makes 4 servings.
Serving suggestions: Serve with corn bread or corn muffins.
